Heroes "Only lovers will survive" is a vampire hundreds of years old tired and disgusted with how the developed world. But they are not typical representatives of their species to extinction: Although they feed on blood and prefer the darkness of the night, but the most important thing is for them to art, literature, music - and lasting love for centuries. This sophisticated connoisseurs of life, posh dandies drowned in the twenty-first century, however, still remembers the intensity of romance.

Adam (Hiddleston) is avoiding publicity and sunlight underground musician Syd Barrett cross between David Bowie and Hamlet. He lives in a secluded part of Detroit, collecting guitars, listening to vinyl and creates electronic music of the end of the world. Melancholy loneliness brightens the long-awaited arrival of his beloved, Eva (Swinton). Together they drive at night in the deserted town in the hypnotic rhythm of the music, celebrating every moment we spend together. But the quiet life of a couple of lovers will be put to the test when unannounced join them unpredictable and famished sister Eve - Ava (Wasikowska).

Jedne z najlepszych filmow filmow o wampirach w historii, oczywiscie trzeba lubic niespieszne tepo, ale jesli zna sie filmy Jarmuscha to wiadomo czego sie dpodziewac. Absolutnie top 5 najlepszych filmow zeszlego roku.

Genialny film! Prawdziwie rasowe kino, dla wymagającego widza. Niepowtarzalny klimat, który dodatkowo potęguje świetny soundtrack. Oczywiście trzeba się należycie wczuć. Jeśli mamy ochotę na coś lekkiego z wartką akcją, to lepiej seans odłożyć na kiedy indziej. Naprawdę warto.

Gorszej szmiry nie ogladalam ,powinni zwracac a nawet doplacac za ta meczarnie.To tarodja wampirow.

Bo ja wiem... może skutek zbyt wygórowanych oczekiwań, może efekt wcześniejszego obejrzenia trailera, ale wrażenie takie...letnie. Miałem swoje wyobrażenie, jak ten film będzie wyglądał, jakie będą poszczególne postacie, co może się stać, jakie będą zdjęcia... i wszystko się spełniło, co do joty. Zabrakło mi nieprzewidzianego, napisy końcowe złapały mnie przez zaskoczenie - już? I tyle? I wrażenie mam takie końcowe - nie wiem czy to było takie potrzebne, ani takie celne. Coś tam się kołacze w tle o kondycji ludzkiej, o świecie który się zmienia, parę średnich żartów z angielskich romantyków... mało mnie to przekonuje. "Limits of Control" dostał recenzje mocno mieszane, "Kochankami" krytycy są raczej zgodnie zachwyceni, ja mam dokładnie na odwrót.
