Inspired by the backstage of the Amber Gold scandal, a thriller thriller directed by Jacek Bromski ("Ticket to the Moon", "Anatomy of Evil"). In the selected cast of the film, in the star duel at the top, the icons of national cinematography - the winner of the Polish Film Awards - Eagles and multiple winners of the Gdynia Festival - Janusz Gajos and Andrzej Seweryn. Next to them, in full suspense, intrigue and "Solid Gold" action, we will see, among others: Marta Nieradkiewicz, Piotr Stramowski, Danuta Stenka, Olgierd Łukaszewicz, Artur Żmijewski, Mateusz Kościuszkiewicz, Andrzej Konopka, Olena Leonenko-Głowacka, Krzysztof Stroiński, Ewa Kasprzyk, Andrzej Zieliński, Sławomir Orzechowski, Karolina Staniec and Maciej Maleńczuk. The cinematographer for the film is the highly-regarded and award-winning cinematographer Arkadiusz Tomiak ("Roundup", "Legions"). The music was composed by Louis Ludek Drizhal ("Death Counter"), Krzysztof Szpetmański ("You Want to Live", "Papusza") is responsible for editing. The producer of the film is Akson Studio - the authors of the artistic and commercial successes of such works as "City 44", "Panic Attack", "Afterimage" and "Walesa. Man from Hope". "Solid Gold" was one of the films presented in the Main Competition of the 44th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.
Kaja Miller (Marta Nieradkiewicz) is a young, ambitious policewoman. During one of the actions she is kidnapped and raped by gangsters. Escaping, he kills his torturers, but in a service report he conceals the circumstances of the incident and leaves work. Eight years later, her former boss - Nowicki (Janusz Gajos), a high officer of the Central Bureau of Investigation, who heads the team investigating business and political connections in Pomerania, attracts her to Gdynia. The group's task is to work out criminals involved in building a huge financial pyramid. The leads lead to Kawecki (Andrzej Seweryn) - a dishonest businessman using political connections to protect his own interests. The investigation is becoming more widespread and reveals the links between the world of business, services and organized crime.
